• This affinity program was launched on October 8, 2009 and will continue at least through December 31, 2010.
• When purchasing wine via the "Shop Wine" section of the web site, make sure that you enter promo code "summmersearch" in the promo code field before check out. If for some reason you forget to enter the code, just email Brian and he will add it in manually to ensure your purchase helps the student at Summer Search.
• When joining one of the Indie Wine Clubs, the promo code field is not available, so please send Brian a quick email after you sign up for the club to let him know you are a friend of Summer Search. He will add the code into the Indie Wine Company accounting program so 10% of your club membership and any reorders of your favorite club wines will go to Summer Search.
• If you want to shop online and help Summer Search but don’t see your State in the list of those to which we can ship directly, please email Brian and he will set-up an alternate shipping program for you either via a local distributor in your state or through a wine storage program at SF Wine Center.
• When signing up for a wine storage membership or hosting an event at SF Wine Center, just let Brian or any member of his staff know you are a friend of Summer Search and they will enter the code in the accounting system so 10% of all your purchases of wine and services will go to Summer Search.
• Storage cellars at SF Wine Center can be shared between multiple friends or family members so you don’t have to be a big wine collector yourself to join. SF Wine Center has storage cellars of all sizes and prices so even if you just have a few bottles but want to join the SF Wine Center community to taste and learn more about wine, you are most welcome to join.
• We also offer a special storage membership for out of state collectors that want a secure temperature controlled private space to store their wine club and wine list shipments until they are ready to enjoy. We have many members from all around the country that enjoy this service and have their shipments send here for perfect storage and then ship them to their home as needed. • Our beautiful event spaces at San Francisco Wine Center are available for use by storage members and the public as well. The City Room boasts an exhibition kitchen, wine bar, lounge areas and meeting or dinning table. The City Room can accommodate up to 75 people for a walk around food & wine pairing event or up to 30 for a sit down dinner or meeting. An LCD TV is available for use in presentations by simply plugging in your laptop.
