Become a Summer Search Referral Partner

The San Francisco office currently works with over 40 schools and youth organizations around the Bay Area and is focused on developing outreach to: Bayview, Hunter’s Point, the Tenderloin and Visitacion Valley in San Francisco, and Richmond in the East Bay.

Students MUST be nominated by a recognized referral source – teachers, guidance counselors, youth agencies - and cannot directly apply to Summer Search.

We look for the following characteristics in Summer Search students:

• Sophomores in high school
  
• From low-income families
  
• Demonstate resiliency, leadership potential, and a strong desire to care for others.
