We Recognize North Bay Alumna, Hillary Hoff, for Outstanding Courage

Hillary’s childhood was eclipsed by the need to care for her family and herself while her parents struggled with drug and alcohol addictions. Since then, she has worked diligently to earn funds to support herself at the University of San Francisco where she is currently a junior. Hillary is studying both psychology and business in hopes of someday creating a non-profit that provides psychological services for children of addicted parents. Hillary remains active as a Summer Search alumna and will be a representative at our first Alumni Summit in 2007. She has also just secured an internship with the BASIC fund in San Francisco which aims to create educational opportunities for low-income children. We applaud Hillary for her tremendous courage and tenacity. Good luck Hillary!
