The following video was created to show the depth and breadth of the Summer Search family: students and alumni, parents, teachers, friends, Board members, staff and volunteers. We were inspired by Brianda, a Summer Search San Francisco senior, who said: “It was because you cherished my triumphs and guided me through my mistakes that I am able to think beyond tomorrow. I wouldn’t be at this point in my life – preparing to be the first in my family to pursue a college education – without my Summer Search family.”

Thank you to all of the Summer Search family who helped Brianda transform her life and find her own strength and potential! A special thanks to Summer Search alum, Carlton Colbert ’98, who created the video, Ben Davidson, our portrait photographer, and Summer Search National Board Member, Cynthia Bengier, who welcomed the Summer Search family into her home for a beautiful evening of cocktails and conversation.
