Summer Search senior collects children’s books for orphans
Anne, a Summer Search New York City senior and speaker at our 2008 NYC Leadership Gala, is organizing a book drive for the orphanage where she volunteered as part of her AFS program in Ghana this summer. “These children aren’t expecting anything for Christmas this year, so imagine how they would feel opening up those presents!” Find out how to join in and donate your lightly-used children’s books by clicking here.

According to a recent evaluation study performed by The Boston Consulting Group, Summer Search graduates are three times as likely to go to college, will earn almost twice as much money over a lifetime, and are almost twice as likely to send their own children to college!
