Professional Network Mission

The Professional Network is a committee of professionals from greater Boston who share Summer Search’s commitment to youth leadership development for low-income high school students. The members of the Professional Network commit to volunteering their time by fundraising for Summer Search Boston through events and creating professional development opportunities for the high school students and alumni.

4th annual autumn gala

The 4^th Annual Autumn Gala, hosted by the Summer Search Boston Professional Network, was a huge success!  Held at the Liberty Hotel on September 16, 2011, the event brought together over 150 guests and raised $29,000 through sponsorships, ticket sales and a stellar raffle and silent auction.  Guests had the opportunity to hear an inspiring speech from alum, Chelsey Bethea, who is currently a sophomore at Bridgewater State College.  In addition, those who attended the event had the opportunity to talk to current Summer Search students about their life-changing experiences.  We are incredibly grateful to the Liberty Hotel for donating their beautiful space for our event.  We are also immensely appreciative to the generous companies and individuals who sponsored the event and donated to the raffle and silent auction.
