Thank you to everyone who supported our 2011 Summer Search North Bay Where Change Begins inaugural dinner! It was a truly inspirational evening and an incredible success: we raised over $350,000 to support our students around the Bay Area.

• Josh, a junior at Montgomery High School, reflects on how Summer Search, and his own desire to change, has made a profound impact on the course of his life.
• Monserrat Garcia, Summer Search North Bay ’10, hosted the evening and shared her story of personal transformation from her sophomore year of high school through her first year at Mills College in Oakland.

• Summer Search alumnus and National board member Jabali Sawicki explains how Summer Search is “where change begins” for the students we serve and how they are influenced to make a difference in their communities and the world around them.
