Amanda Jefferson speaks at the Wharton Social Impact Conference
On Friday, February 3rd, Summer Search Philadelphia’s Executive Director, Amanda Jefferson, spoke at the Wharton Social Impact Conference. Her panel was entitled “Innovative Approaches to Education” where she talked about Summer Search’s impact on youth education in Philadelphia.

Summer Search Philadelphia Exceeded It's Fundraising Goal This Year!
Thank you to all our supporters for your generous donations! Not only did we meet our fundraising goal, but we even exceeded it and raised $352,000 this year!

Summer Search Philadelphia is the Winner of the 2011 Human Values Award for Academics! The Human Values Awards honor leaders who have demonstrated an outstanding commitment to improving the lives of others through their dedication and service to humanity.

Thank you to our Wharton In Action students who raised over $7,000 to support Summer Search students!

23 Summer Searchers have started college for the first time! Our graduating senior class has begun college at schools including Temple University, Colby-Sawyer College and the University of Pennsylvania. All of these students will receive continued support during college through our Bridge program.
